The ideal candidate for this position must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment but still demonstrate graceful movement on the restaurant floor. Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability of providing proactive service and anticipating guest need. Prior experience in a fine dining establishment is highly desired.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent preferred; AND a minimum of (2) years of experience in a fine dining restaurant; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Consistently offers professional, friendly and warm hospitality to all guests
- Maintains clean and organized work stations that are cohesive with the hotel and restaurant’s philosophy, culture, and standards of excellence.
- Greeting guests as they arrive
- Walking guests to their tables
- Taking reservations and managing the waitlist
- Answering phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu
- Communicating with servers to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Assisting various restaurant staff when necessary
