JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION:  Hotel Maintenance Engineer                 DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
REPORTS TO:  Director of Engineering
Job Summary: Victor Hotels Miami Beach is looking for a reliable and hands-on Hotel Maintenance Engineer to help maintain the property, guest rooms, and public areas. The ideal candidate has general maintenance experience and basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, roofing, HVAC, and other building systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and mechanical systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to protect the historic integrity of the property
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and hotel standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders
  • Assist with special projects, renovations, and inspections as needed
Requirements:
  • Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, and general building maintenance
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling and climbing
