San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF) envisions a future where health justice is achieved for all people living with or at risk for HIV. Ultimately, we strive for a day when race is not a barrier to health and wellness, substance use is not stigmatized, HIV status does not determine quality of life, and HIV transmission is eliminated.

AIDS/LifeCycle is a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride between San Francisco and Los Angeles that raises funds for the Center as well as event partner San Francisco AIDS Foundation. The event raises more than $17 million annually through peer-to-peer fundraising, sponsorships, and other methods of fundraising.

Position Overview:

AIDS/LifeCycle is looking to hire a Salesforce Administrator to be based in our San Francisco office.

This role will lead execution to ensure systems and data integrity for ALC’s customer relationship management platforms (Salesforce) in concert with stakeholders at ALC, SFAF and Los Angeles LGBT Center. The Salesforce Administrator will help develop and create systems to enhance ALC’s participant user experience throughout the season. They will work closely with ALC staff to develop workflows across systems to ensure fundraising, reporting, and CRM systems are integrated.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Salesforce/NPSP and Pardot maintenance and system enhancements
  • Ensure the flow of ALC participant and fundraising data is accurate between Salesforce NPSP/Pardot and DonorDrive
  • Work with external vendors to build, QA and implement new infrastructure for action items leading up to and including ALC 7-Day event including checking, tenting and other key components for excellent user experience
  • Develop and maintain accurate reporting for staff and key stakeholders, including weekly reporting and annual report
  • Able to synthesize connections between various systems and processes to achieve stable workflows
  • Training - able to train end users in processes; provides technical translation and support for end users and participants who are not necessarily tech savvy
  • Interface with webmaster, Pardot, IT, donor services regularly to ensure data and system accuracy and troubleshoot as needed
  • Ability to serve as point of contact for ALC reps in solving reporting and participant issues in Salesforce//DonorDrive
  • Represent and work with ALC staff at events, including weeknights and weekends, including preparation for 7-day 545 mile event

Essential Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Salesforce/NPSP (5+ years experience) and Pardot
  • Experience in fundraising systems and their Salesforce integrations required, (DonorDrive preferred)
  • Strong ability to understand relationships between various platforms such as Salesforce/Pardot and DonorDrive required
  • Experience in app/mobile app building and deployment preferred
  • WordPress knowledge preferred
  • High Attention to detail
  • Experience in data management and preservation of data integrity
  • Experience in project management and balancing many priorities
  • Ability to make decisions using regression testing, prioritizing data integrity 
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate complex information to non technical staff
  • Strong user experience knowledge
  • Connected to the mission of AIDS/LifeCycle, SFAF and LA LGBT Center
  • Direct experience with AIDS/LifeCycle preferred 
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and non-traditional hours as needed.

Physical Requirements and Work Environments:
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, copy machine and telephone system.
  • Ability to perform routine bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 30 lbs.   • This position requires staffing AIDS/LifeCycle including pre and post event production duties. During the AIDS/LifeCycle event in June and the days immediately before and after the event, additional responsibilities may be assigned, as necessary. These responsibilities may include administrative duties, volunteer supervision, safety monitoring, vendor relations, and/or sales supervision.

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work in Salesforce required.
  • Fundraising/Non-Profit software experience required, Donor Drive preferred
  • Direct experience with AIDS/LifeCycle preferred

This position will have access to protected health information (PHI) and may only access, use or disclose the minimum information necessary to perform their designated role on behalf of San Francisco AIDS Foundation, regardless of the extent of access provided.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily located at 1035 Market Street, San Francisco, however it may occasionally require traveling to other office locations or off-site meetings as required by the job. Role may include evening and weekend coverage.
