Cordant Health Solutions has an immediate opening for a Finance Manager to join our team in Denver, Colorado.  The Finance Manager will be managing the business unit support function by preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts, and reports. Works with leadership in Finance and Operations to develop recommendations based on financial analysis and forecasts and owning project to automate processes and improve efficiencies within the department.

  Essential Functions: 
  • Leads monthly business unit and operations reviews
  • Provides insights and acts as a consultant to executives
  • Implements and project manages business process improvements as well as savings projects
  • Supports the month-end close process
  • Provides operations team with KPI’s to drive execution
  • Researches and resolves business unit(s) inquiries for assigned functional areas
  • Identifies and initiates process improvements, productivity enhancements, and technical solutions including providing feedback to assist in better reporting through increased automation and transparency
  • Manages and administrates commission process
  • Designs commission plans
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Master’s degree or CPA or comparable designation is strongly desired, preferably in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint, SQL knowledge preferred
  • Understanding of US-GAAP
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with independent judgment to deal with ambiguity
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Attention to detail
