Cordant Health Solutions has an immediate opening for a full-time Missing Information Specialist to join our team in Denver.  This role is responsible for managing and investigating missing and incomplete information that has resulted in errors in our billing process. The ideal candidate will have at least one-year experience in medical billing (preferably within a laboratory setting), and will be confident using an innovative and creative approach to collect updated information. This role requires experience managing inbound and outbound calls and will place significant focus on maintaining exceptional customer service for our clients.

The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday with hours between 6am-4pm. Some overtime may be required, so some flexibility in your schedule is crucial. 
 
Essential Functions:
  • Research missing and incomplete information resulting in billing errors 
  • Maintain the resolution process for all billing errors that prevent claim billing
  • Work with internal/external client to obtain missing billing information
  • Generate written correspondences and responses to client emails
  • Process clearinghouse rejections and changes to patient demographics
  • Produce daily metrics
  • Assist the order/data entry process to ensure claims billing
 
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED, required
  • Medical Billing Certification or Degree with an accredited school, preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in Medical Billing (Laboratory billing, preferred)
  • 1+ experience with XIFIN billing system, preferred
  • 2+ experience with inbound and outbound calls, required
  • Intermediate Excel experience, preferred
