The Client Collections Specialist will be responsible for performing all functions needed for daily production of the billing and collections on client bill accounts. This position will be responsible for managing and optimizing revenue and cash receipts while providing exceptional and respectful service to our clients. This role will need to use innovative approaches to collecting balances while still providing a high level of customer service. This position will be responsible for enlisting the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.

Essential Functions:
  • Manages the client billing collections for client accounts
  • Reviews deposits and payment postings when applicable related to collection activities of accounts
  • Performs capitated client billing, aging and collections tasks
  • Monitors test files and associated pricing agreements
  • Compiles payment plans on delinquent accounts
  • Provides monthly delinquency notices
  • Administers client communications, correspondence, and client files
  • Adheres to departmental guidelines and protocols
  • Meets defined department goals and activity metrics
  • Assists in monthly invoice tasks as assigned
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of experience in Medical Billing (Laboratory billing, a plus)
  • 2+ years of experience with inbound and outbound calls
  • 2+ years high volume corporate collections experience.
  • Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures
  • Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
