Salary Range $16 – $28 an hour based on experience

Shift Type:  day/night, 4 days on, 4 days off

Who You are:
     As a Storesperson Lead, you are responsible for ensuring accuracy of parts, inventory counts, and shipping and receiving. You provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism, speed, accuracy and have a passion for detail. You thrive in a fast paced environment and follow policies and procedures with utmost accuracy. You have knowledge of aircraft parts and stores procedures, having worked with TRAX or similar inventory management system.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES
INVENTORY CONTROL DEPARTMENT
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling the flow of aircraft parts and materials from our stores to the hangar floor.
  • Accurately and efficiently pick parts for tasks as requested by aircraft maintenance mechanics, team leads and other departments.
  • Keep the receiving, shipping & distribution area clean and tidy.
  • Responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials of Sky Regional Stores to and from the hangar floor
  • Assist in packing and shipping aircraft parts.
  • Carry out inventory count and cycle count with accuracy.
  • Accurately organize and file all documentation related to aircraft parts.

DRIVING DUTIES
  • Pick up parts from other local vendors.
  • Maintain the vehicle in a neat and tidy condition.

POLICIES & PROCEDURES
  • Ensure company bulletins, directives and information circulars are reviewed and understood;
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of Sky Regional Airlines and Air Canada.

TEAMWORK
  • Work as a strong team player both within the department and with aircraft maintenance engineers and mechanics for quick and efficient part picking, issuing, and receiving.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:
  • Valid driver’s license- Class G, with a stellar driving record.  
  • High school education with ability to speak and write English.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with aviation parts and stores environment will be given priority
  • Experience with TRAX or similar inventory management system
  • Previously having lead or supervised a team an asset
COMPETENCIES & ATTRIBUTES:
  • IT Skills, confidence using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Inventory Management software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Confident in decision making and following detailed procedures.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 operation, overnights and shiftwork.
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Successful Completion of Background Check and Drivers History Check required to attain and maintain a Transport Canada Clearance (RAIC) and AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operators Permit).
