Varsity Girls Tennis Coach (Beaverton, OR)

Valley Catholic High School, a member of the OSAA 4A classification and a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon, has an opening for a Varsity Girls Tennis Coach.  

Job Description: 
The position works with Valley Catholic tennis program in accordance with the mission of Valley Catholic School and the philosophy of its Athletics Department. Responsibilities include planning and conducting practice sessions.

The High School tennis season runs from February 28th to May 16th with matches and practices.
 
Qualified candidates have previous experience coaching tennis and a passion for teaching fundamentals, teamwork, ethics and sportsmanship. In addition, they have a history of positive influence and interactions with players, coaches, and parents and have the ability to communicate effectively with parents, administration, students, and staff.
 

Additional Requirements:

• A First Aid/CPR card or the ability to obtain one before the first day of the Tennis season.
• All required OSAA and NFHS certifications, including concussion, heat illness prevention, steroid training or the ability to obtain these before the first day of the Tennis season. A complete list can be found here: http://www.osaa.org/coaches
