Custodial Floor Technician needed to join our cleaning team. A successful candidate will have knowledge and experience with floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, carpet extractors, canister vacuum cleaners, shop vacuums, all the associated chemicals and safety protocols. 

Scheduled hours are 3:30pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday.

What you'll do:
  • Spot Cleaning floors
  • Sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping floors
  • Carpet extraction and shampooing
  • Waxing and buffing floors

  • Maintain all floor areas with the high standards of cleanliness and sanitation for a highly rated and well-staffed place of peace and healing for those who need round-the-clock care.
  • Knowledge and experience with floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, carpet extractors, canister vacuum cleaners, shop vacuums, all the associated chemicals and safety protocols.
  • Protect patients and visitors by keeping floors free from harmful microorganisms, and by being mindful of slip, trip, and fall hazards.
  • When necessary you may be required to move furniture for floor access or be asked to perform other light cleaning tasks on occasion.
  • The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English. 
  • The willingness and ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to established safety procedures. 
  • Knowledge and use of proper techniques of floor care and tile and upholstery cleaning.
  • Sound and reliable problem-solving skills.
