The Position
The University of Georgia (UGA) invites applications and nominations for the position of Head of the Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences (PBS) Department in the College of Pharmacy.

The University seeks candidates who are innovative and accomplished researchers and leaders in their field with a strong commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will join a community of scholars numbering 79 faculty in the College of Pharmacy and 25 faculty in the PBS department. The position will dedicate 40% effort to departmental administration. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a funded and collaborative research program and to contribute to the teaching, advising, and mentoring of Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), undergraduate, and graduate students in a manner consistent with the university’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
