Location: Pocatello, Idaho
The Position:
The Dean of the College of Science and Engineering (CoSE) reports to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and is a member of the Council of Deans. The Dean provides leadership and executive management of the College. The Dean supervises Associate Deans, Department Chairs for each academic unit within the College, and staff in the Office of the Dean who help execute the mission of the unit.
The Dean will lead the development of a plan for CoSE that, in alignment with the University’s strategic plan, energizes the faculty’s commitment to excellent teaching and impactful research, and improves the alignment of the College’s programs—and its graduates—with the needs of the regional economy and its major employers.
