With a 25-year history of growth through performance on large, complex, and high-profile projects, we provide solutions to diverse clients in the federal government, local government, transportation, water/wastewater and energy markets. Straughan is currently seeking junior level Construction Inspectors. We are recruiting for a Transportation Engineering Technician (TET) – TET I and TET II levels, and are willing to train the right candidate. We seek motivated and career minded individuals with an interest in and understanding of roadway and environmental construction processes.
- An interest or experience in environmental, roadway and utility construction
- SHA Yellow card
- MDE Green card
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License
- Certifications: Temporary Traffic Control, Soils & Aggregates, Concrete, Hot Mixed Asphalt
- Environmental, roadway, utility and general construction knowledge
