Straughan is currently seeking senior Construction Inspectors. We are recruiting for a Transportation Engineering Technician (TET) – TET III and TET IV levels. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of environmental, roadway and utility construction processes.

  • Two or more years of construction inspection experience 
  • State or Mid Atlantic Regional Certification Program (MARTCP) certifications for Basic concrete and Hot Mixed Asphalt 
  • SHA Yellow card 
  • MDE Green card
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver’s License

Highly Desired
  • Certifications: Temporary Traffic Control, Soils & Aggregates 
  • Utility, environmental and general construction knowledge
