Straughan is currently seeking Entry through Senior-Level construction inspectors. These positions are located in MSHA District 2. The ideal candidate should have an interest in and understanding of construction processes and environmental issues.

  • 2-20 years of construction inspection experience
  • High School Diploma 
  • Knowledge of State of Maryland regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and co-workers
  • Valid Driver’s License

Highly Desired
  • General Experience with Environmental Issues 
  • Experience with roadway construction projects
  • Experience with permitting compliance
  • Experience with Project Documentation and MSHA Systems
  • A Proven Track Record of Working with Construction Contractors and Governmental Agencies
  • Certifications: Maintenance of Traffic, Green Card, Yellow Card, MARTCP certifications
  • Scheduling and Cost Estimating Experience
