Technical Program Manager
Sealing Technologies, Inc. is a veteran owned small business (VOSB) that provides knowledge and expertise in advanced cybersecurity technologies, techniques and trainings to the federal government, most notably, the Department of Defense.
Job Responsibilities:
The Technical Program Manager will exercise control over and be responsible for the SealingTech staff working on-site at our company headquarters. This position would report directly to the company owner. Specific tasks included within that overall responsibility include:
  • Lead and work with a team of engineers
  • Provide oversight to the contract
  • Manage and work within a budget
  • Assist in some project documentation
  • Manage the schedule, deliverables, and scope of all services under the Agreement.
  • Provide Govt representatives with accurate and updated information regarding delivery
  • Collaborate with other DCO Programs (e.g. DCOMP, GDP, Analytics, etc.) to support integration needs across the entire portfolio
  • Collaborate with Govt representatives on changes, if any, to the system, components, or firmware for most effective operations to the DCO mission.
  • Coordinate with the Armories and the Forge on the initial fielding activities and Life-Cycle Management of program
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to the program
  • Manage change to scope, deliverables, and schedule which will require that an agreement will need be signed off by the Program office and Program Manager prior to execution

Basic Requirements
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must have or be able to get a DoD SECRET clearance
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in a field of study relevant to performing listed job responsibilities.
  • At least three years' experience supporting the IT systems life-cycle requirements development and management processes.
  • At least three years' experience managing a small team (5-10 staff) of multi-functional technical professionals.
  • At least ten years’ experience in a technical position
  • Must be able to work directly with the team in building network systems
  • Be able to travel up to 20% for this position


Desirable Requirements:
  • Prior experience working as a Government employee or contractor supporting one or more DoD organizations.
  • Possess a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Have a home lab and work on personal technical projects during free time
  • Familiarity with systems engineering processes, architecture frameworks, modeling languages and automated tools
