NetOps Instructor

Sealing Technologies, Inc is looking for a highly motivated team member to build and deliver comprehensive development programs to our internal teams as well as customers. This is a key role in the company, as we are growing rapidly, and the continued development and growth of our team and this department is paramount. 

As a Network Operations Instructor, it will be your critical task to lead training and exercise events as part of the Scenario Based Training (SBT) team. Your tasks will also include assessing effectiveness of training for objective standards, reviewing and updating course materials, evaluating readiness of training participants to conduct cyberspace operations, and communicating lessons learned from training and exercise events to stakeholders.


Job Duties:
  • With the support of the SBT team, provide instruction for bi-weekly training for NetOps tools within the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS).
  • Create engaging interactions that support successful knowledge transfer.
  • Assists in designing and developing training materials, curriculum, and resources both internally and externally. Continually review and update materials to ensure the most up to date information is being presented to students.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts within the Product team to ensure all internal trainings are accurate and developed on time. 
  • Performs needs assessments and effectiveness analysis. Develops a holistic view of performance problems, identifies root causes, and suggests training-based solutions.
  • Partner with leadership in functional areas to identify key trends and integrate those trends into the SBT course material. 
  • Participate as a key technical resource during the SBT course and provide authoritative technical guidance to students.
  • Demonstrate oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to students possessing a broad range of experience
Preferred Qualification:
  • Previous experience with JRSS
  • Experience working in support of a DCO/CND team (Army 2rCC, USAF 33rd NWS, Navy 10th Fleet, Cyber Protection Team, DISA DCC, JFHQ-DoDIN, etc.)
  • Experience with IDS/IPS, data loss detection, network flow, network monitoring, full packet capture, file extraction, and firewall rules
  • Familiar with ArcSight SIEM, Bro, and VMWare
  • CCIE Preferred
  • DoD Experience
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, to include static routing, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and virtual routing and forwarding (VRF)
  • Secret Clearance
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of training experience with minimum one year in cybersecurity and a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong analytical and logical skills paired with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II
