Network Engineer for SBT/LBE

Sealing Technologies, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Network Engineer to join our team!   You will assist with the planning and acquisition of the component deltas missing from the existing lab and training materials. Deltas may include but are not limited to licensing, equipment and adequate administrative access to the environment. You will assist in providing engineering expertise to install, configure and test the lab-based threat scenario environment for the lab-based exercises (LBE) and the Scenario Based Trainings (SBT).

Additionally, you will develop and build NetOps and CND scenarios for use within the LBE and the SBTs. You will assist in conducting various test and quality assurance evaluations to ensure the scenarios are executable within real-time exercises as well as a mocked exercise or presentation of the events.

  • 2+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with network security devices: IDS/IPS, web proxy, firewall,
  • Full Packet Capture, and others
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA, Cisco/Juniper routers and other network appliances
  • US Citizen
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II

Preferred Skills:
  • Government Security Clearance: Secret
  • Experience with JRSS
  • Custom IDS/IPS Signature Writing
  • Experience with DoD Information Systems
  • Familiarity with various SIEM technologies
