Sealing Technologies, Inc. is looking for Financial Analyst to join the team!  This position will be responsible for working alongside the CFO as well as closely with the Division Leads and Program Managers to provide the visibility needed to make decisions and maximize the profitability of our portfolio of programs.  This role prepares timely and meaningful financial data to understand current and projected business conditions while also addressing assigned reporting requirements. Key efforts include coordination of reporting inputs, reviewing program level and divisional data for accuracy, completeness, and relevancy, and consolidating division inputs into overall company results. This individual will work in support of a variety of programs and people across multiple business areas in the organization.

Position Description
  • Support Division Leads and Program Managers in budgetary and financial functions.
  • Support all aspects of Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting to include but not limited to: Program Baselining, Resource Planning, Fiscal Year Budget Planning, Monthly Financial Forecasting, and establishing Dashboards.
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly financial and planning reports, including monthly financial review presentations, program performance data, balance sheet projections, working capital, and other ad hoc data requests.
  • Develop division level annual budgets and coordinate allocations.
  • Prepare monthly budget vs. actual reporting for Division Leads; identify variances and assist leads in understanding and forecasting division expenses.
  • Helps guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
  • Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
  • Have the ability to handle demanding situations with clarity, focus and professionalism, and to respond quickly to quick turnaround tasks.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related business discipline       
  • Experience with Government Contracting (Department of Defense)
  • Experience with Unanet and/or other accounting systems
  • Experience with Time & Expense Systems
  • Have excellent Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Must be able to work well with others

  • Experience with Unanet
  • Experience working with a small businesses
