Role Summary

The IRD Supervisor will assist the In - Room Dining Manager with hiring, developing, and training the IRD staff, upholding the standards of Auberge, and creating a memorable experience for each one of the guests.  This role will assist in ensuring both guest and employee satisfaction that is achieved by meeting and exceeding the operating budget.
 

Maintain complete knowledge of:

  • All liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in restaurant, bar and pool bar.

  • The particular characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list

  • All menu items, preparation and methods

  • Guest room layout, locations and room names & numbers.

  • POS and manual system procedures.

  • Daily housecount, arrivals/departures, VIPs.

  • Scheduled in-house group activities, locations and times.

  • Correct maintenance and use of equipment.


All department policies/service procedures.
  • Supervises daily operations of room service and ensures all standards are being met. 
     
  • Manages staffing levels to ensure that all guest services are exceptional. 
     
  • Develop department members knowledge and skills through education, coaching, corrective counseling, ect. 
     
  • Create and post schedules on a weekly basis for hourly staff.
     
  • Ensure service is carried out in accordance with Auberge service standards. 
     
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan and vision for the division consistent with the property's strategic vision. 
     
  • Provide leadership in the development and monitoring of fiscal budgets, division operations, and marketing strategies to produce both short term and long-term profitability for the property.
     
  • Work closely with the Chef to ensure all special culinary requests are met. 
 

Required Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years experience in a related role


Preferred Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver license. 

  • Must have clear communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

  • Must have strong attention to detail 

  • Current Manager Food Handlers Card
