Role Summary

Join our team as a Baker and become one of the authors of our story. The Baker is responsible for producing all breads served on property as well as executing the morning bake-off of all coffee shop pastries. 

 

Core Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this position are:

• Mix, shape, and bake breads daily. Will work closely with the Assistant Pastry Chef to set daily and weekly pars, accounting for banquets, weddings, etc. 

• Will pull, proof and bake morning pastries for the Coffee Shop. 

• Primary user of Stanly Ranch’s deck oven, responsible for communicating any necessary maintenance and for proper usage and cleaning of the oven.

• Must have a strong work ethic, display efficiency and the ability to multitask.

 

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of bread making experience, preferably in a bakery setting and with naturally-leavened breads.
