Role Summary
A restaurant server is responsible for the selling and serving for food/beverage with gracious hospitality through guest interactions. The server is responsible for having a thorough and in depth knowledge of the food and beverage menus, overseeing table maintenance, and curating the guest experience. The ideal candidate will perform tasks in an energetic, professional manner. It is imperative that the server is team oriented, have great communication skills, attention to detail, and have the knowledge and experience to read the guest in order to create an engaging experience.
Core Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this position are:

Anticipate guest needs and create a strong guest relationship.

Calm - able to give assistance to guests and fellow associates in an upbeat atmosphere with a smile and patient attitude.

Ability to remember, recite and promote all menu items.

Ability to operate the Point of Sales system to put in guest order or prepare guest checks in a timely manner.

Ability to follow instructions and/or direction by the management and or by fellow associates.

Ability to project self in a professional manner.

Must be self-motivated and result oriented.

Command knowledge of food, wine, and beverage list.
Required Qualifications
-
Must have fine dining experience. High volume experience is a plus.

Needs to have previous hospitality experience.

Education: Have a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be fluent in English. Some Spanish is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications

Standing knowledge of local cuisine, wine, spirits, and service etiquette

Comfortable speaking with varied sizes of group
