T-O Engineers’ emerging Landscape Architecture division is looking to grow our team by seeking a motivated, organized and well-versed candidate with 5-8 years of experience to join our multi-disciplined company in the role of Project or Landscape Architect. The ideal candidate should be able to work in conjunction with the Landscape Architecture Manager and have complete working knowledge of landscape architecture projects from project kick off through construction.

Successful candidates shall be able to efficiently plan and organize project workload, be able to successfully work with team members, be highly detail oriented, and have a desire to find innovative landscape solutions for complex challenges to meet the needs of our clients.

Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program is required.
  • Landscape Architecture license desired, but not required.
  • 5-8 years of professional work experience in Landscape Architecture.
  • Demonstrated design abilities in Master Planning, Design Development and Construction Documentation.
  • Experience in large scale developments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Photoshop and Sketch-Up.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
  • Strong graphic, written and verbal skills to interface with team members and clients.
  • Experience in Specification writing
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
  • Knowledge of LEED development practices and sustainability.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Communicate and coordinate with team members across multiple disciplines..
  • Use hand graphics and CAD software to prepare conceptual, preliminary and final landscape construction drawings.
  • Develop specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and team members via outstanding written and verbal skills.
  • Assist in public meetings and presentations.
