TDA is looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for external agency communications and new business activities.  This person will be self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about being a part of the TDA team.


New Business

  • Evolving new business processes, and managing that process in conjunction with agency leadership
  • Helping craft initial responses in the procurement process
  • Coordinating internal resources to develop client proposals
  • Contributing to capabilities presentations and other marketing materials
  • Developing and maintaining a client and prospect database
  • Partnering with the CEO on prospect connections


  • Develop and implement a PR plan, including ways to leverage social media/networking and digital technologies to boost outreach efforts
  • Manage external communication including writing press releases, developing and pitching stories, maintaining media lists, and conducting media outreach
  • Identify and manage speaking opportunities for agency thought leaders, including developing speaking proposals and maintaining relationships with various industry organizations and forums
  • Build relationships with industry analysts
  • Knowledgeable about the social media/marketing landscape, experience serving as FB / Twitter / YouTube administrator, managing content updates, new campaign launches, seeding and monitoring content


5+ years of business development experience within an advertising agency

Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations

Strong writing skills

Self-motivated, proactive and entrepreneurial

Highly organized

Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and multitask
