What’s the role?
The IT Manager will provide oversight for The Wellness companies IT infrastructure. They will be responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, performance tuning, and recovery procedures for mission critical systems and serves as a technical expert in cyber security and system administration. They will be responsible for working leading our managed IT services for day-to-day operations n ensuring we’re providing the appropriate level of support. initiatives including new technology rollouts and upgrades through to close. They will manage day-to-day operations of all technical systems, manage a IT professionals, and report or escalate issues as needed to the VP of IT.

The IT Manager will provide oversight for The Wellness companies IT infrastructure. They will be responsible for working leading our managed IT services for day-to-day operations n ensuring we’re providing the appropriate level of support. initiatives including new technology rollouts and upgrades through to close. They will manage day-to-day operations of all technical systems, manage a IT professionals, and report or escalate issues as needed to the VP of IT.
Here's what could be included in a typical day:
- Ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
- Administer and integrate cloud solutions – such as Shopify, azure, VPS, and AWS
- Update and administer multiple web platforms
- Develop, document, and maintain system procedures and configurations
- Research and recommend innovative solutions to overcome business challenges
- Work with vendors to define and audit day to day IT operations
- Create performance and security reports, track inventory and maintenance and create instructional material and in a complex global IT environment.
- Simulating security vulnerabilities and creating operating procedures to mitigate risk
- Install, configure, and maintain IT, servers, peripherals, hardware, and software, and devices
- Administer and integrate cloud solutions – such as Shopify, azure, VPS, and AWS
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCES, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years in a IT Leadership role required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or similar preferred
- Experience working in a startup environment a plus
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience with Ecommerce cloud application configuration and integration
- Experience setting up payment processors
- Experience administering affiliates
- Experience integrating and setting up inventory and logistic to Shopify ( Shipmonk, shipstation Finale)
- Experience administering Office 365 applications and Email
- Experienced in leading managing various marketing tools.
