Security Requirements
Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
Training Needed
A. Must be a graduate of any of the following Military Department Counterintelligence Agent Certifying Courses
1. Army – Counterintelligence Special Agent Course (CISAC)
2. Army – 35L Course (or its predecessor)
3. Army – 351L Course (or its predecessor)
4. Air Force –Basic Special Investigators Course (BISC), U.S. Air Force Special Investigations Academy, or predecessor
5. Navy – Special Agent Basic Training Program (SABTB), Naval Criminal Investigative Service Training Academy, or predecessor
B. Must be a graduate of all the following Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy/Activity (JCITA) or Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA) Courses
1. JCITA – CI Investigations in a Cyber Environment
2. DCITA – Windows Forensics Examinations (Encase of FTK)
3. DCITA – Forensic Intrusions in a Windows Environment (FIWE)
Additional Relevant Trainings and Certifications
Experience
1. Minimum 10 years of experience as a credentialed Counterintelligence Special Agent
2. Understanding of CI Investigations
3. Fundamentals of Cyber Counterintelligence
4. Understanding of FIE TTPs
