*Successful Candidates for this role may anticipate a $500 sign-on bonus! $100 will be distributed after 30 days of employment, $200 after 60 days, and $200 after 90 days.
Perform the established close of day functions for resort, spa and F&B operations and to create the daily house status sheet. Represent the management as acting M.O.D. during the hours of duty. Granted limited authority to troubleshoot operational issues and guest or associate problems. Responsible for loss prevention and ensuring the safety of all people on the property. This is an overnight position.

A genuine affinity for interacting meaningfully and positively with guests.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
One year of experience in a clerical position with emphasis in customer relations.
One year of experience in a cash-handling position.
Basic knowledge of accounting theory.
Proficiency with computers.
(Desired) College graduate with a degree in accounting.
(Desired)Two years of luxury resort experience.
Physical Demands: Frequent need to perform the following physical activities:
Reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing. Have frequent need to perform standing and walking activities related to providing food service in the restaurant.
The constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger dexterity.
Frequent need to stand for long periods of time.
Lifting/carrying up to 10-20 lbs. frequently and 40 lbs. occasionally.
Vision requirements: the constant need to view small print. Frequent need to see small details and things clearly beyond arms’ reach.
Hearing requirements: the constant need to speak on the telephone and/or two-way radio.
Respond to the general public and converse with staff. Ability to hear fire alarms and emergency equipment.
Act according to the policies and procedures established in the associate handbook.
Maintain complete awareness of facilities, hours of operation, emergency procedures and rules of conduct.
Be aware of resort occupancy, restaurant guest count and private dining or group activities.
Cooperate with department managers, security and staff members to promote customer service, the integrity of the Finance department and spirit of The Lodge at Blue Sky.
Complete projects assigned by Rooms Operations Manager/Assistant Director of Finance.
Prepare daily house status sheet
Respond to all emergencies as established in the Management Emergency Procedure Guidelines.
Always be prepared to respond immediately to guests arriving late, room service orders, luggage assistance and guests checking out.
Perform all Night Audit tasks as directed to close and reconcile the day’s receipts.
Participate in and support hotel and company efforts towards sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the Green Team program.
Provide room service and assist guests whenever necessary.
Maintain familiarity with reservations including checking availability, front desk including billing, and concierge including Blue Sky activities.
Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.
