Pain Management and Injury Relief (PMIR) is seeking a Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outstanding clinical team. We specialize in care for patients with acute and chronic pain and provide non-surgical solutions to help them get back to their life before pain.

If this sounds like a place you want to work, here is are a few of things we would expect of you in this role:
  • In-depth understanding of pain mechanisms and medication management
  • Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician
  • Evaluates the outcome of patient care
  • Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved practice protocols
  • Observes patient and documents condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents
  • Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, and health maintenance
  • Arranges referrals, consultations, diagnostic testing, therapeutic services, and confers with other specialist on course of care and treatment
Education & Experience:
  • PA requires a PA license
  • NP requires RN license
  • 3+ years of experience with a spine or pain management
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
  • Knowledge of medications, schedule I – V
  • Knowledge of worker’s comp, PI lien, and some insurance understanding
  • Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent organizational skills, and high attention to detail and accuracy
