Lead Integrator 

Job Summary
Victor 12 is seeking a Lead Integrator (fully remote) to support an awarded contract with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) in Orlando, Florida. The Lead Integrator is responsible for the planning, coordination, development, and supervision of activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions. The Lead Integrator supports the collaborative development and alignment of the Training Infrastructure strategic vision. The role works closely with a Senior Technical Lead, Database and Software Architects, and network and system administrator teams to develop and maintain an application architecture blueprint developed in conjunction with the customer.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities
  • Leads the integration of custom training application capabilities and adheres to Enterprise Architecture standards, Data Architecture standards, Governance frameworks, and System Integration standards.
  • Provides expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology, data architecture and modeling, and system architecture, including integration best practices. 
  • Manages customer relationships; supports or addresses customer escalations.
  • Effectively communicates technical issues or solutions issues in easy-to-understand terms to various levels of the customer hierarchy and within Victor 12.
  • Analyzes and identifies non-functional business and system requirements.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand requirements, business processes, and data flow needs.
  • Provides general technical leadership and guidance to project support, maintenance, and development teams.
  • Provides general technical leadership and support for production performance readiness with a focus on efficiency, resilience, reliability, scalability, required monitoring alerts, and adherence to development and implementation standards.
  • Leads or supports proof-of-concept activities for new applications and technologies from standards, performance, and non-functional analysis perspectives, including general product assessment, implementation planning, testing and evaluation, tuning, and KPI identification.
  • Recommends best practices for integration solutions based on customer preferences to the Program and Project Managers.
  • Supports the identification of key performance indicators (KPIs) and thresholds for applications, and leverages data to define capacity planning models and required monitoring alerts.
  • Develops or revises technical and procedural documentation to support changes in strategic objectives.

Minimum Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 12 years’ related experience.
    • Note: Foreign university transcripts must meet accreditation standards by one of two national associations of credential evaluation services designated by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the U.S. Department of Education.
      • 1. National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
      • 2. Association of International Credentials Evaluators (AICE).
    • Submittal of accreditation equivalency must be provided at the time of application
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of applications, platforms, and underlying technologies used in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) models.
  • Possesses knowledge of software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Demonstrates understanding of Operating Systems (OS) (Linux, Microsoft), and virtualized (VMWare, Vcenter, etc.) cloud (i.e., AWS) environments and methodologies.
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of Federal IT security standards and best practices, along with methods for maintaining and achieving compliance with those standards.
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills with a solid grasp of English grammar and usage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work remotely, during East Coast business hours, in the contiguous United States. 
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Ability to obtain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card to support this customer (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident)

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Possesses strong database architecture skills using Microsoft SQL server.
Understanding and proficiency in:
SQL Server 2019 or above.
