Role Summary
Join our team as a Food Runner/Busser/Server Assistant and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Wildflower Farms family, you will serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our team members by quickly and accurately delivering orders from the kitchen to guests at the restaurant. You are a critical team member to assist the Servers and maintain a clean environment for restaurant guests throughout their dining experience.
Core Responsibilities
Ensure guests' dining experience meets or exceeds all Wildflower Farms / Forbes quality and service standards. This includes but is not limited to:

Picking up food items for orders placed by the service staff and delivering meals to guests.

Assisting the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize our guests' dining experience.

Setting up the front line with the equipment, plate ware, and smallware needed to effectively serve all food products.

Keeping stations restocked throughout the shift; cleaning large and small trays and tray stands so they are ready for service.

Reading order tickets as they arrive and placing them onto the ticket minder.

Tracking cooking times on all orders, checking finished products for proper degree of doneness, appearance, and plate presentation.

Garnishing finished entrees according to culinary specifications and procedures.

Assisting the servers as needed to optimize the guests' dining experience.

Reporting any unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, accidents, and/or injuries to the chef or other managers on duty.

Correctly completing closing duties at the end of each shift.

Assisting the Chefs and other culinary team members with accomplishing closing duties and kitchen cleanliness.

Completing all side work in the front and/or back of the house as assigned and scheduled by the members of the management team.

Complying with Wildflower Farms / Forbes standards for in-room dining procedures.

Contributing to improving the F&B sales revenues by being knowledgeable about all menu items.

Using safe food handling procedures and maintaining a safe working environment by using proper food-handling skills and food safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
-
A minimum of one year of experience in the food service/hospitality industry. Experience in a similar position in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel setting is desirable.

Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and guest-oriented.

Appearance must be clean and professional with a cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.

Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to departmental and operational needs.

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with guests and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse issues and collect accurate information, and resolve problems.
