The White Barn Inn is currently recruiting for a motivated Dishwasher/Steward team player and results oriented, committed to providing outstanding dining and customer service every day.
 
Responsibilities
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans, using dishwasher or by hand.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly manner
  • Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or service
  • Sweep or scrub floors
  • Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
  • Sort or remove trash placing it in designated pickup areas
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. 
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
 
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Ideal candidate possess food service/hospitality experience.
Professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
Positive, honest and energetic work ethic.
 
Other requirements
Able to work on a flexible schedule, including week-ends and holidays, according to department needs.
Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and be able to lift up, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
