Public Space Attendant (Kennebunk, ME)

Role Summary

Join the White Barn Inn as a Public Space Attendant and become one of the authors of our story.  As part of the Housekeeping team you will be responsible for preparing the guest rooms for the guests return to ensure cleanliness and tidiness.

Core Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this position are:

• Prepare each room for the guests’ return in accordance with Auberge Resorts and Forbes standards
• Ensure linen, towels, room supplies, and amenities are replenished and neatly arranged.
• Report any maintenance issues to the Maintenance or Rooms team in a timely manner.
• Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards
• Follow safe operating procedures in regards to the use of cleaning chemicals
• Clean and maintain common areas, public spaces, and bathrooms.
• Assist with any additional laundry or housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications 

• Must be able to work PM shifts
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays according to department needs

Preferred Qualifications 

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred

Physical Demands

• Must be able to to stand for at least 8 hours
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 35 pounds
