Core Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this position are:
- Greet patrons as they enter the restaurant and either show them to their tables or to a waiting area.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of the name of their server.
- Develop and form positive relationships with guests and team members, whilst remaining professional and service orientated at all times.
- Wipe menus to make sure they are free of stains.
- Work with the restaurant manager to assist with private parties scheduled to dine in the restaurant.
- Answer any questions guests have about the restaurant.
- Direct patrons to areas such as the restroom or coatroom.
- Ensure guests had a good experience and thanks them for their patronage.
- Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment by using proper food-handling skills and food safety guidelines.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
- Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
