Golf Café Attendant (Boca Raton, FL)

Woodfield Country Club is looking for an energetic Golf Café Attendant to service our busy "Sandwedges" food and beverage outlet. The Sandwedges Attendant oversees setting up, maintenance and clearing of dining area so that the restaurant can open on time and be maintained to the highest standards. Ensure the members are informed of daily specials and current/future events. The Attendant serves members in a professional, friendly, courteous, and timely matter. Candidates must have strong communication and multi-tasking skills. Must be available to work flexible, morning-afternoon hours, including the availability to work weekends & holidays.

SUMMARY
Operates golf course café (“Sandwedges”) by performing the following duties. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Performs daily operation by preparing café when Sandwedges opens (10:00am-4:00pm) for service.
• Interacting with and greeting members upon their arrival.
• Assemble orders listed on the ticket, including all dressings, sauces and other condiments standard with certain orders
• Ensures the accuracy of all orders, in-house and to-go, by double-checking the ticket (special care for standard and requested condiments, etc).
• Maintains highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation for tables, seats, back of house, floors, counters, beverage stations, smallwares, equipment, restrooms, and surrounding area, etc.
• Inventory daily par level, and complete food and beverage requisition sheet. Calls the orders to kitchen one day in advance and picks up on the following day of business.
• Administer daily closing reports and distribute to the appropriate department heads.
• Answer the telephone and takes food/beverage orders utilizing menu knowledge.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, salads, sandwiches, and other short-order items according to club standards and recipes.
• Check and sample all food items before service to ensure freshness and proper seasoning.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• JONAS experience 
• Some knowledge of Golf is a plus
• High School Diploma
