Job Responsibilities
 
  • Analyze potential investment properties; estimating value, needed repairs, projected rent, and determining optimal exit strategy
  • Manage the overall health of the portfolio through reporting and oversight
  • Grow professional network to find new sources of inventory
  • Develop and maintain advanced level Excel-based analytical tools
  • Conduct diligence research on potential acquisitions; including Taxes, HOA Dues, CC&Rs, Zoning, etc.
  • Applying real estate investment metrics to underwriting and purchase decisions
  • Comfortably interact with other Real Estate Professions; including Agents, Attorneys, Construction Vendors, Management Companies, etc
  • Understanding of basic construction principles; including estimating, replacement costs, and understanding of local building standards
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work autonomously

Job Requirements (including Education)
 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with a high emphasis on excel literacy
  • 2+ years in real estate valuation, real estate investment, asset management, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience developing financial modeling and analysis
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal real estate laws, customs, and practices
  • Active Real Estate license a plus
