FLSA STATUS:  NON-EXEMPT
RATE OF PAY: $46,690 - $60,000 (DOQ) 


Overview: As a Human Resources Generalist, you will manage and streamline all aspects of HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and fostering a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated on legal requirements and ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant.
  • Source, screen, and select candidates for open positions through effective recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive new employee orientations to align newcomers with company objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefits, personnel transactions, and workforce statistics for reporting purposes.
  • Train managers on HR practices such as hiring protocols, performance reviews, and workplace safety.
  • Provide guidance to management on resolving employee relations issues effectively.
  • Address inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs promptly and accurately.
  • Administer performance review and salary administration programs to ensure fairness and compliance.
  • Manage employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, prepare reports, and liaise with insurance providers as necessary.
  • Conduct wage surveys to benchmark compensation against industry standards.
  • Handle employee separations, conduct exit interviews, and analyze turnover trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of HR experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, payroll and HRIS software, and internet applications.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. The role involves sitting, talking, and hearing frequently, with occasional standing, walking, and stooping.

Work Environment: This role operates primarily in a moderate noise level office environment. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions may occur.
