Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility for weekends as needed
Pay Range: $60,000–$75,000 per year (Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications in line with company pay practices)

Job Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the branch, including warehouse operations, inventory management, facility oversight, customer service support, and employee supervision. This role serves as the on-site operational leader and is accountable for ensuring efficient, safe, and profitable branch operations while maintaining high service standards for both internal and external customers.

In addition to leading warehouse and delivery operations, the Branch Manager serves as a backup resource for front-counter cashier functions and sales support as business needs require. The Branch Manager partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational objectives.

Supervisory Responsibilities
• Oversees the daily workflow of the branch, including warehouse, delivery, and front-counter support functions
• Schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper coverage across warehouse operations, deliveries, and customer-facing roles
• Directly supervises warehouse associates, forklift operators, delivery drivers, and branch support staff
• Hires, trains, and develops employees, including safety training, forklift certification, and customer service expectations
• Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations with a focus on accountability, engagement, and growth
• Coaches, disciplines, and, when necessary, terminates employees in partnership with Human Resources and in accordance with company policy and employment law

Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversees all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading, and distribution
• Manages delivery scheduling, routing, and performance to ensure timely and accurate customer service
• Oversees branch facility operations including building upkeep, equipment maintenance, vendor coordination, and cleanliness standards
• Ensures compliance with OSHA standards, DOT requirements, and company safety policies; conducts regular safety meetings and inspections
• Monitors forklift operations, equipment condition, and certification requirements
• Maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation; implements corrective actions to reduce shrinkage and errors
• Utilizes warehouse management systems, point-of-sale systems, and reporting tools to track productivity, accuracy, and branch KPIs
• Identifies and implements operational and process improvements to increase efficiency and control costs
• Serves as a backup for cashier and front-counter operations, including processing transactions, assisting customers, and supporting sales activity as needed
• Provides sales support by assisting with order processing, customer inquiries, and coordination with inside sales or purchasing teams when coverage is required
• Collaborates with leadership and other departments to align branch operations with company goals and service expectations
• Prepares and submits management reports related to labor, productivity, inventory, safety, and branch performance
• Represents branch operations in scheduled and ad-hoc meetings
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support overall branch success

Required Skills and Abilities
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage warehouse, delivery, and customer-facing teams
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to step into front-counter or sales support roles as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and branch operations
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems, point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, or branch operations
• Prior supervisory or management experience required
• Experience supporting customer service, cashier, or sales functions in a distribution or retail environment preferred

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to traverse all areas of the warehouse and branch facility
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, or crouch for extended periods
• Exposure to warehouse conditions including noise, dust, moving equipment, and temperature variations
