St. Joseph Catholic School has an opening for our Cafeteria Manager position. This position is full-time, during the school year.
The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills as well as be a team player. This candidate must also be dependable and able to work up to 40 hours each week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Cafeteria Manager include but are not limited to:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Cafeteria Manager include but are not limited to:
- The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for receiving the food from the vendor and heating it to proper temperature requirements.
- The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for ensuring that all prep work is completed for all meals distributed to the school children.
- The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for keeping an accurate inventory of the food received by the school’s food vendor.
- The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for placing orders for food and milk on an on-going basis to ensure that the school is properly equipped for school lunches.
- The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for completing any necessary paperwork that is required for participation in the National School Lunch Program.
- The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for completing all State required and local training as directed by the school and the State of Indiana to participate in the National School Lunch Program.
- The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for the cafeteria staff. Scheduling, training, and general managerial duties.
