Overview:
We seek a dedicated and organized Assistant Principal to join our team at St. Louis Academy. This vital role will support the administration in managing student behavior, enhancing school marketing efforts, supporting advances in school improvement goals, coordinating daily schedules, and facilitating effective communication among staff and parents. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to fostering a positive school environment, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic setting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Student Behavior Management:
    • Monitor and address student behavior in accordance with school policies.
    • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement behavior intervention plans.
    • Assist in conducting student discipline meetings as needed.
  • School Marketing:
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the school’s mission and programs.
    • Create promotional materials, including newsletters, brochures, and social media content.
    • Engage with the community to enhance the school’s visibility and reputation.
  • Calendar and Daily Schedule Management:
    • Maintain and update the school calendar, ensuring all events are accurately scheduled.
    • Coordinate daily schedule changes and communicate updates to staff and students.
    • Assist in planning and organizing school events, meetings, and activities.
  • Staff and Parent Communications:
    • Serve as a point of contact for staff and parents regarding school policies, procedures, and events.
    • Facilitate effective communication between staff, parents, and the administration.
    • Assist in drafting and distributing communication materials.                                            
  • Staff Support:
    • Provide administrative support to faculty and staff as needed.
    • Assist with onboarding and training new staff members.
    • Help foster a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, interest in seeking, currently enrolled in courses, or holds a Master’s degree in Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting or administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite software and other school management software.
  • A commitment to modeling Catholic virtues and demonstrating respect to staff, parents, and students at all times.
  • The ability to lead in supporting the school's Catholic mission and vision.
  • A passion for working with students and a commitment to their success.
