Position: First Grade Teacher

St. John the Baptist, a vibrant Catholic elementary school, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate First Grade Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, faith-filled environment where teaching the whole child is a priority.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons in core subjects

  • Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and parents to support student growth

  • Participate in school-wide faith activities and model Catholic values in daily interactions

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s preferred)

  • Valid teaching certification (or eligibility) for elementary grades

  • Practicing Catholic preferred, but all applicants who respect and support Catholic values are welcome

  • Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills

  • A passion for early childhood education and a heart for working with young learners
