St. John the Baptist FW - School Resource Officer (Fort Wayne, IN)
Saint John the Baptist Catholic School is seeking a part-time security officer to be present at the beginning and end of the school day, as well as during our school Masses. This is a part-time, hourly position that can be filled by multiple people. The hourly rate is $50 per hour.
Non-Mass Days: 7:30 – 8:30 AM, 2:30 – 3:30 PM
Mass Days 7:30 – 9:30 AM, 2:30 – 3:30 PM
Fridays 8:30 - 9:30 AM, 2:30 - 3:30 PM
General Duties:
- Maintain a presence during pick-up and drop-off
- Provide security during Masses
- Complete Daily Perimeter Sweeps
- Guide parents in following pick-up and drop-off procedures
Professional Qualifications
- Police Officer or similar professional
- Meets weapon certification and appropriate training
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Supervision and Evaluation
- The School Security Official is supervised and evaluated by the Principal of the School
