Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and faith-driven 5th Grade Self?'Contained Teacher to join our faculty. This teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction across all core subjects (math, language arts, science, social studies, religion), fostering a classroom environment that supports academic growth, moral development, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and teach daily lessons for a self-contained 5th grade class

Use differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners

Integrate Catholic faith and values into curriculum and classroom activities

Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and staff

Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction
-
Communicate with parents about student performance and behavior

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events

Support the school’s Catholic mission through prayer, service, and witness
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Education
-
Valid teaching certification/license (or eligibility) for the State of Indiana

Experience teaching upper elementary grades (preferred)

Practicing Catholic or strong understanding of Catholic education and willingness to uphold our faith mission

Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication, and organizational abilities
