Role Summary

The Lunch Aide ensures a safe and positive lunch experience for students by assisting with meal preparation and serving,

Key Responsibilities

Food Service:
- Assist the Cafeteria Manager with food preparation (including but not limited to., starting warmers, starting ovens, portioning, setting up lines) and efficient meal serving.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and sanitation standards during food handling and cleanup.
- Perform required cleanup duties: wiping tables, sweeping, washing dishes, and managing waste.
- A willingness to complete necessary food service training or courses.
Student Supervision:
- Address minor student conflicts and provide assistance (e.g., opening containers, packages, or other items).
- Immediately report all accidents, injuries, or serious disciplinary matters to teachers or administration

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
Must pass a required background check and complete diocesan Safe Environment training.
