Job Type Part-time
The Fitness Specialist will provide the highest possible service to Bayou Bend Health System Fitness Center (BBHSFC) members and guests in a friendly and professional manner via assistance with equipment usage. Foster positive interpersonal relationships with fellow employees.

Requirements

The ideal Fitness Specialist candidate must possess:

Bachelor of science in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field preferred
Minimum of one nationally recognized certification (ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA, etc.) preferred.
Minimum of two years of personal training experience or approved internship preferred.
CPR. First Aid, and AED certification
Ability to regularly lift 5 lbs, frequently 50 lbs., and occasionally 100 lbs. is required to maneuver the majority of exercise equipment.
Ability to demonstrate strength training machines, free weights exercises, flexibility techniques, and cardiovascular machines.
