Job Title: Logistics Analyst II

Job Summary/Purpose: The Gemini 3 Group (G3G) is seeking a full-time Logistics Analyst II
to support a valued Department of Defense (DoD) customer. This position is contingent upon
contract award.

Essential Responsibilities/Functions:
• Assist in integrated logistics support (ILS) activities designed to provide life-cycle
support of systems and equipment.
• Recommend ILS element planning and progress to ensure compliance with program
requirements, specifications, and standards.
• Analyze models and optimized distribution networks using advanced logistics software
for location of sites, allocation of resources, inventory placement, and size, selection of
transportation mode, freight consolidation, closed loop tours, and continuous moves.
• Prepare, review, update and maintain logistics documentation, as required.
• Track, monitor, and maintain logistics documentation electronically, within Government designated
repositories.
• Track all hardware warranty and software license use.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of fielding conferences.
• Assist in the collection, analysis, reconciliation and forecasting of requirements to
support, replace, or upgrade Information Technology (IT) hardware and software items.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Possess knowledge of DoD/USMC acquisition policies, as well as various tools: Total
Force Structure Management System (TFSMS), Remedy, Defense Property Accounting
System (DPAS), and Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC)
systems.
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized, able to manage priorities to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Required Education, Licenses and Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Military experience acceptable in lieu of
education.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics acquisition.
