Position Summary
Our client is seeking a highly skilled, strategic Director of Digital Marketing to lead all consumer-facing communications and digital initiatives. Reporting to the COO, this leader will own the brand strategy, marketing calendar, and creative direction for the company’s digital presence and affiliated ventures.
This is a hands-on leadership role—part strategist, part creative director, part operator. The Director will oversee digital campaigns, manage a small internal team and freelancers, and personally manage and post content across key social channels. The ideal candidate blends creative vision, strategic thinking, and operational discipline to grow a high-impact personal brand and engage global audiences.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled, strategic Director of Digital Marketing to lead all consumer-facing communications and digital initiatives. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and own the overarching digital marketing strategy and marketing calendar for the brand and its affiliated ventures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all consumer-facing communications.
Content & Creative Oversight
- Lead all creative production, ensuring photos, videos, and graphics align with brand standards.
- Oversee all social and digital channels, coordinating content and managing posting to maintain consistent tone, engagement, and brand alignment.
- Ensure the content reflects the brand's authentic voice, values, and narrative.
Team Management & Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of Social Media and Photo-Video Content Creators.
- Manage freelancers and external creative support as needed.
Execution & Performance
- Oversee execution of digital marketing duties, including social campaigns, paid ads, event promotion, and PR initiatives.
- Define and track KPIs across engagement, growth, sentiment, and ROI to measure success and optimize performance.
Budget Management
- Prepare and manage the digital marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with executives, brand partners, sponsors, and creative agencies to develop and activate campaigns that enhance brand equity and drive engagement.
Market Monitoring
- Stay current on digital marketing trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes to maintain a competitive edge.
Crisis Management
- Oversee real-time social media monitoring and manage responses to emerging issues or crises to protect and enhance brand reputation.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, brand management, sports marketing, or entertainment marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record as a creative leader managing a team of at least three people.
- Direct, hands-on experience with social media management and content posting is required.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, including social media, content creation, paid media, and brand strategy.
- Strong knowledge of digital tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, social media management tools, CMS).
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with high-level stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a complex marketing calendar.
- Creative eye for visual storytelling and passion for compelling content.
- Strong grasp of audience insights, cultural trends, and digital behaviors.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including occasional evening or weekend work around key events.
Salary: $180,000–$220,000 annually
