Up to 20 hours/week during Spring and Fall semesters; up to 40 hours/week during Summer
Overview:
The Human Resources & Safety Intern will support the HR and Safety teams in daily operations, compliance initiatives, and employee engagement activities. This role offers hands-on experience in HR processes and workplace safety programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment activities.
- Help maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Support onboarding and orientation processes.
- Participate in safety audits, inspections, and training coordination.
- Assist with compliance reporting and policy updates.
- Provide general administrative support to HR and Safety departments.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Human Resources, Business, Safety Management, or related field preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
