As a Plant Production Supervisor, you will drive a culture of manufacturing excellence through consistent team development, effective communication, and results oriented performance. The development and execution of strategic plans in an effort to meet or exceed company targets for safety, quality, and productivity, is a key objective.

- Work jointly with working leads and team leads to direct daily tasks of 5-40 employees
- Understand manpower needs, conduct interviews, perform annual reviews, and focus on employee development
- Conduct team huddles and ensure a work environment exists for employees that provides open communication between both team members and leadership to effectively communicate concerns regarding production
- Work Cross-departmentally to ensure that the needs of the production team are met
- Utilize reports, standard hours, actual hours, absorption, performance, schedule, etc.
- Ensure proper carryover of production activities (between shifts if applicable) and requirements.
- Assist in safety Risk Assessment and SEWO process
- Assist in quality HERCA process
- Contribute to continuous improvement and emphasize the importance of employee suggestions
- Uses basic problem-solving techniques to define or resolve routine problems
- Work with R&D in the development of new product launches
- And others as required
- High School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED)
- Regular, predictable and reliable attendance
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Ability to work with computers and software systems, must wear all personal protective equipment PPE
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead
- Must be able to climb, push, pull, lift up to 20 lbs. constantly, 21-30 lbs. frequently, 31-40 lbs. occasionally, and 41-49 lbs. rarely.
- Work in both controlled and non-climate-controlled areas
- Work in hearing conservation areas
- Preferred 2 + years of experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment with at least 3 months in production
- Associate degree in related field
- Mathematics, including Arithmetic, Algebra, Statistics and their applications
