DESCRIPTION
The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for recruiting, screening and referring applicants for positions throughout the organization. In their additional role as Housing Manager, this person will manage all aspects of employee housing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruiting
- Manage marketing of all job advertisements
- Manage and execute the full recruitment cycle including sourcing strategies, interview processes, offer negotiations, closing, relocation and on-boarding.
- Work directly with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs, ensure understanding of job specifications and desired qualifications for each position, and facilitate recruitment strategy
- Scan, sort, and screen applicants within our Applicant Tracking system
- Serve as an advisor to hiring managers throughout the hiring process on matters such as interview techniques, compliance, selection protocols, offer management, etc.
- Follow up on all applicants and insure they are interviewed in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records and produce reports on all phases of the recruitment process
- Provide weekly report to CEO and Operations Manager on status of applicants.
- Develop knowledge of current marketplace trends to ensure competitive hiring tactics
- Participate in in-person and virtual job fairs
- Build a strong local network consisting of high school students, college students, entry level and experienced professionals
- Issue offers, complete background checks, and facilitate onboarding and orientation
- Manage and execute all international programs, acting as chief liaison to agencies
- Oversee the Referral Bonus Program and other recruitment incentive programs
- Assist with day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties
- All other duties as assigned
- Organize and maintain accurate records of all employee housing needs and availabilities
- Facilitate completion of all paperwork, including leases, housing rules, policies and procedures, and move-out checklists
- Communicate and coordinate with appropriate departments in reference to payroll deductions and security deposits
- Follow and enforce all employee housing rules, policies, and procedures
- Direct maintenance and housekeeping needs for all facilities
- Arrange and conduct appropriate regular property inspections, biweekly in season
- Act as primary contact and resource for all residents
- Assist in resolving any resident conflicts through professional, courteous, and solution minded actions and behaviors
- Communicate with neighbors and police as necessary
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of recruiting experience in high volume and high hiring environment
- Must possess knowledge in personnel policy and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices and develop a basic understanding of the company’s organizational structure
- Property management experience a plus
- Must have excellent organizational skills, great attention to detail, astute computer skills and effective written and oral communication skills
- The work environment for this position is generally an indoor controlled environment. Noise level is moderate; expect noises like office machines and light traffic
- Required to work overtime and weekends during the company’s in-season time period
- May be requested to drive company vehicle to other locations and to transport employees
