Job Overview: We are currently looking for a skilled CNC machinist for 2nd shift operations. The CNC machinist will produce machined parts, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, Mi-Tech consolidates production, sales, maintenance, customer service, and quality control in one 85,000-square-foot location to maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties (include but are not limited to):

· Follow relevant MTTM procedures and the MTTM Quality Policy

· Adhere to all Safety Policies established by Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals, LLC.

· Knowledge of measurement techniques using various hand tools as well as height gages, comparators, and CMM operations.

· Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, boring, milling, etc.

· Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawing, etc.

· Ensure a safe working environment exists in the area. Verify safety duties are assigned and completed at the frequency required

· Translate tasks into G & M Code commands so the machines can perform the correct function

· Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machine

· Prepare test run to check in the machines produce outputs according to the specifications

· Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large numbers of parts

· Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly

· Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality

· Communication with team leads, supervision, maintenance and engineering is required daily

· Complete additional duties and tasks that may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· Previous leadership (Preferred)

· Strong communications written and orally

· Proficient with Microsoft Office

· 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:

· Satisfy and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative productivity and quality standards.

· Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.

· Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time, 90% of the time is spent standing.

· Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work

· Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

· Communicate effectively.
