Full-Time Nanny/ Family Assistant for Two Children in Portsmouth NH

Compensation: $26 - $28 per hour, $125 per overnight

Benefits:  2 Weeks Paid Vacation/ 2 Sick days/ 3 Personal Days Major federal off and Paid

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM ( Flexibility Must)
  • Friday: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Guaranteed 35 Hours ( Flexibility is a Must)
  • 1-2 overnights per week ( Flexible) 
  • Flexibility With hours in Summer July & August
  • Nanny to use Own /Reimburse For Gas
  • Flexible to stay In Bad Weather
  • Separate accommodations for overnights provided

Seeking a dependable, caring, and proactive Full -Time Nanny/Family Assistant to support a busy family with two children, ages 10 and 12. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and engaging childcare, including afterschool activities, driving the children to various appointments, and offering overnight care as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Childcare & Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of the children, engage in meaningful activities
  • Transportation: Drive the children to and from afterschool activities and appointments, ensuring they arrive safely and on time.
  • Afterschool Support: Help with homework, snacks, and provide supervision during free time.
  • Overnight Care: Provide overnight care 1-2 nights per week, ensuring the children’s comfort, safety, and well-being.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates to the parents on the children’s activities and needs, ensuring open and transparent communication.
  • Prepare simple meals and snacks
  • Kid's laundry

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in childcare or as a nanny
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule when needed, particularly when the family is traveling
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and punctuality
  • Experience working with school-age children and familiarity with afterschool programs is preferred
  • Provide 3-5 professional references
